A Video Smoke & Fire Detection system has been released by UK tech firm BiKal IP CCTV. The new Smoke & Fire Detection system is part of the company's video analytics system EyeSoft, a ip surveillance sotware package.
The software uses video fed in by network cameras and analyses the video for smoke & fire patterns alerting operators of the event in real time via a video pop-up with multi site notification as well as e-mail & sms options. The system can be provided as fixed or mobile solutions with rapid deployment and renewable energy to wireless communication options providing complete single box or bolt-on turnkey solutions.
BiKal claim the smoke & fire detection system can help save lives and limit damage by acting as an early warning system for potential hazards in wide open areas such as forests to industrial locations acting as fire alert backup system where standard fire detection systems cannot reach.
